Special Issue on Innovation and Diversity in Engineering Education (deadline Aug 1 2017)

Engineering needs new techniques to engage and educate an increasingly diverse population of students, taking into account a range of differences including gender, ethnicity, language, educational experiences, sexual orientation, and learning styles. These new techniques can take on multiple forms, including multidisciplinary perspectives, new technologies, and new ways to form, deliver, and assess learning experiences. Further, new techniques are also needed that help students learn how to innovate and create novel solutions that meet the needs of a growing global population.

The guest editors invite manuscripts that address innovation and diversity in engineering in Canada and beyond.
